Today I would like to share with you Philippians 1:6&20, “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.” There are two parts to this. First, it is the Lord who is making the transformation in us to be like Jesus and no matter how difficult the battle against the flesh, Jesus will have the victory. Second, in all that you do, do it to the glory of God. Do not let sin rule and reign in your body. The Holy Spirit will show you how to shut down the action of the flesh. Remember there are 3 things working against you, Satan, this world, and the flesh. Walk in the Spirit and you will not give into sin. Resist Satan and he will flee from you. Do not love the things of the world, set your eyes on heavenly things.
