2nd Samuel 21:1

“Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David inquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, “It is because of Saul and his bloodthirsty house, because he killed the Gibeonites.’”

A famine in the land because the top leader in the land is corrupt. In the case with David, he was not the problem it was Saul, who was the previous king. Saul who now was dead and no longer king caused the land to suffer because he was bloodthirsty.

The choices one makes affects everything and everyone around them, either good or bad. When we choose to follow the Lord, we set in motion for our family and friends results that impact in positive way, even if there is hostility to the gospel. When we choose to be destructive, we set in motion consequences that can have a negative effect for generations.
No matter good or bad the ripple can move through a society in ways we may never imagined. What choices are you making and what lasting impression are you leaving on friends and family?

Prayer:
Lord, help me to always follow You and obey what You say. Lord may my choices always honor You.
