Today I would like to share with you 2nd Corinthians 13:4, “For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you.” We can feel exhausted trying to do what is right. We can feel like we have no strength left trying to do what we know the Lord wants us to do. I want to encourage you to know it is all by God’s power that you will do this. If you are attempting to do this on your own power you will find that you will fall into legalism and you will burn out and become frustrated. The beauty is, in our weakness then we are strong in the Lord. It is all about the Lord working through us and empowering us by His Spirit. Pray and ask the Lord to help you never forget this is all done through Him never by you. All you need to have is a willing spirit that say yes to Jesus, and the Lord will do the rest. It is in our mess, in our darkness that the Lord calls us by name, and when we respond and say “yes Lord use me.” He will take the messiest broken nobody, and make him/her a somebody in Him for His glory. In our weakness we are made strong in the Lord. That the world may know Jesus is the one who brings salvation and sets us free.
