Today I would like to share with you Joshua 1:8, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” I want to encourage you to read the Bible every day. Take to heart what it says and how you can apply it to your life. To meditate upon the word is to seek the Lord on how to establish it in your heart. As it says in Luke 24:32, “And they said to one another, ‘Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us on the road and while He opened the scriptures to us?” Luke 24:45, “And He opened their understanding that they might comprehend the scriptures.” As you read the Bible ask the Lord to help you understand, I pray that your heart would burn within you as you read the scriptures, that it would take deep root in your soul. That Word of God would come alive in your life.
