Jeremiah 17:5-8

Today I would like to share with you Jeremiah 17:5-8, “Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.” We must trust in the Lord God Almighty Maker of heaven and earth. There is no one else to trust. At this time the world is collapsing and there is much uncertainty. Remember, Jesus is on His throne and He has put every enemy under His feet. As the bride of Christ we must be bold, we must pray for each other. We cannot cower in the corner. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit and listening. We must not be distracted. When the enemy touches the bride of the Lord, the Lord will repay. When one of us hurts we all hurt. When one rejoices we all rejoice. Where will you put your trust? I trust in Jesus my great Deliverer. Pray my friends, this world is in desperate need of Jesus.
