Jeremiah 10:10, 21, 24

Today I would like to share with you Jeremiah 10:10, 21, 24, “But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, and the nations will not be able to endure His indignation. For the shepherds have become dull-hearted, and have not sought the Lord; therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered. O Lord, correct me, but with justice; not in Your anger, lest You bring me to nothing.” It is only by God’s mercy nations still hold their governing authority. There will come a time called the Great Tribulation (known in the Old Testament as the Indignation) that all the nations will not be able to withstand. But for now, until God calls us home, we need to tell everyone about Jesus. Second, as we love people ask the Lord to correct in you what is not of Him. It sounds scary, but in God’s grace He remove what is harmful that you only reflect Christ. Finally, seek God’s will for your life. If those who are leading people do not seek the Lord, the pastor will burn out, become dull in hearing what the Holy Spirit wants to say, and that pastor, church leader, Bible teacher will loose those that God has given them, and will begin to teach wicked doctrine, leading the people away from God. Pray for this nation, pray for your pastor, pray that God will correct us with justice and mercy.
