Today I would like to share with you 1st Corinthians 5:6-7, “Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.” Each one of us needs to ask the Lord to remove what does not belong in our life, that is a hindrances to obeying the Lord. We need to repent of holding on to the sin we think we have a right to. Sin is destructive and toxic. A small amount will destroy you and your family. It is so important that you ask the Lord to purge whatever sin you are gripping onto, it is the only way to be ready for the coming days. It is the only way to be ready to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. When you let the Lord purge what is not of Him, Jesus will give you His character. “For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.”
