Today I would like to share with you Job 5:17, “Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.” I share this as an encouragement. When the Lord is correcting your character, rejoice, when the Lord corrects the direction of your life give praise, when the Lord stops you from going down the path of destruction, give thanks. It is the love of the Lord that corrects us from our destructive nature. The problem is some of us are more stubborn than others. My challenge to you is to ask the Lord to soften your heart to receive His correction, and ask the Lord to remove the stubbornness.
