Philippians 3:13-14 & 20

Today I would like to share with you Philippians 3:13-14 & 20, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” I share this with you today as an encouragement, as we see the chaos of this world, as we see much uncertainty, I encourage you to keep your eyes on the Lord. Your past is wiped clean by the blood of Jesus, remember your citizenship is in heaven. If your citizenship is in heaven that means you are an ambassador for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this world. Just like any nation that begins to unravel with violence, ambassadors are called home to the land that they are citizens. As the Earth becomes more and more violent the Lord will call us home to be with Him.
