Sgt Fernando Borboa Army Infantry. I joined the Army back in June 2001. During basic training, the twin towers were hit; this changed the course of my military career. I was stationed in Baumholder Germany for two years with 1st Armored Division, 2nd Brigade, ACo 1/6th Infantry regiment. I served two deployments in Baghdad Iraq in 2003 and 2008. During my last deployment, I started dating my wife of now 14 years; we now have 5 kids and one granddaughter.
